- A Community Board of Directors advises Executive Director Kim C Giles, LICSW and a Staff.

What services have you provided in recent years?
- In the calendar year 2003, Pemi Bridge House Homeless Shelter provided:
4,705 nights of shelter (72 more than the previous year)
14,115 healthy, well balanced meals
Case management service to 57 people (40 adults and 17 children)

What types of programs do you offer?
- Adult Mentoring Programs
- Networking to various agencies (case work)

How long does the averge resident stay?
- While residents stay from 1 night to a full year, the average stay is almost half a year.

What is the ratio of children, women and men? Average Age?
- Nine out of 16 of all residents are generally children, while the remaining are usually single moms.

What do you find to be the most prevalent cause for homelessness?
-The issues of Homelessness are complicated: lack of adequate health care, housing issues, education, mental health, economic, and just plain crummy luck are all factors with homelessness. We work to address the individual concerns on a person-by-person basis.

Do you have any rules for your residents?
We do an "intake" with each resident and have about 25 House Rules, the most important and basic being:
- RESPECT (mutual) for Residents, Staff, Community
- Individual responsibility
- 10 PM curfew
- Can't drink or use drugs
- No sexual offenders

Is health care provided for those you take in?
- Health Care
- Mental and physical problems
