Volunteering
Bridge House depends on volunteers to help out on all levels. Our volunteers work in the office, read to the children, transport residents to appointments, help with job applications, tutor, assist in case management, provide maintenance and grounds work, provide educational groups and write grants. Bridge House depends on a volunteer board of directors who set policy and ensure financial stability. Many board members donate additional time in their specialty areas and provide coverage for staff time off. Whatever your specialty or interest is, there's a place for you at Bridge House. To protect both our residents and volunteers, we request that volunteers have a criminal release from the State of New Hampshire as well as adhere to our in-house confidentiality policies. It really is quite simple! Just call Kim, our Executive Director, at (603)536-7631.
We need help in the shelter with residents programs, transportation, and assistance with events and fund raising.
